Vast majority of people were summoned through a viral <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Short message service\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Short_message_service\">SMS<\/a> and\/or word of mouth.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>E-participation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Formal\/accepted\/tested:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Official web pages<\/li>\n<li>Online administration<\/li>\n<li>Online petitions<\/li>\n<li>Electronic votes<\/li>\n<li>Referendums\/polls<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Civils\/grassroot organisations:<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>News<\/li>\n<li>Forums<\/li>\n<li>Mailing lists<\/li>\n<li>Chats<\/li>\n<li>Chain emails<\/li>\n<li>SMS<\/li>\n<li>Blogs<\/li>\n<li>Videos<\/li>\n<li>Social networks<\/li>\n<li>3D worlds<\/li>\n<li>Wikis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Interesting problem of electronic voting: it requires electricity. This can be a real problems in some parts of the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Coordination: Vivienda digna (Street demonstrations for a decent house)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Origins started in an email chain message. Calling for a sit-in demonstration, positive demonstrations. Wiki of a famous blogger hosted the content and it was increased and more detailed crosspostings.<\/p>\n<p>There was organical growth of related issues:<\/p>\n<p>Open lists (organizing other places, blogs, press, logos, etc.)<\/p>\n<p>Collaborative creation of content (manifestos, SMS messages, safety measures, legal issues)<\/p>\n<p>It was a successful use of wiki and impact on public propaganda. But it failed to change the political decisions.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory: Lo prometido es deuda (A promise is a promise)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Similar to <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Wikiquote\" rel=\"homepage\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wikiquote.org\/\">Wikiquote<\/a>, but the objective is exclusive to find and archive campaign promises.<\/p>\n<p>It got coverage in all major online Spanish newspapers.<\/p>\n<p>It was a successful use of a wiki. It had impact on public opinion.
