Running in a flat city is great and you soon discover a spirit for it, but then once in a while you have to change the scenary for something with more hills so you get the full muscle workout. Since I don’t get out of the city much, I took the opportunity to go picking mushrooms with Klemen Robnik<\/a> this past Saturday.<\/p>\n

Even though it’s not running, the steep terrain that you have to climb to actually find mushrooms, is challenging and tiring enough.<\/p>\n

This was my first real mushroom picking<\/a> and I must I was surprised at how many different species we actually located. Even though we found just a few of edible<\/a> ones between the mushrooms that Klemen knew, I’m sure that found at least 10 different types.<\/p>\n

We didn’t find enough to actually make a meal and I can’t comment much more since I didn’t remember much more, but it’s definitely fun past time, worth repeating every other weekend.<\/p>\n
