Real world mario question blocks

Posted by: Jure Cuhalev In: Planet Kiberpipa|Planet LiveCD|everyday life|time wasters

Some time ago I found the page poster child mario question blocks, which describes the process of creating real world mario objects. Months passed by and one day I decided that our hacklab Cyberpipe needs a block too. My brother Peter to the rescue, and we got our first block:

UroÅ¡ thinking I’m crazy for being amused with this cube

But then a few days ago I was wondering around old part of Ljubljana city center and I noticed that someone else had to have similar ideas quite some time ago:

There you go, proof that Slovenians know some Nintendo history.

Nintendo had nothing to do with Pac-man, to be exact, it just provided one out of many platforms one could use to play Pac-man. And I am quite sure, that these two are in fact Space Invaders – http://www.space-invaders.com/lju1.html ?
